Jakki Davis, Co-Founder of D-UP, recieved a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in managment for NC A & T. She earned a Masters of Educational Leadership from Strayer University. Jakki has over 30 years of experience in organizational leadership and service. Her favorite quote is:

"Be the change you wish to see in the world" (Gandhi).

Corvin Davis, or "Coach", Co-Founder of D-UP, recieved a BA in Communications & Broadcast Poduction from NC A & T. He later earned a Masters of Educational Leadership from Strayer University. Corvin is a member of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. He has been a coach for over 30 years, currently coaching for Vandalia Christian School.

Natalie is a life-long High Point native and graduate of HPU with a Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design. She began her work with D-UP as an AmeriCorps VISTA and has since assumed the role of Executive Director's Assistant. "I am happy to be of service in any way possible to our students, to my community, and to the overall goal of connectivity and betterment", says Natalie.

Raelin has received a BA in
psychology and sociology and a MA in Human Service Counseling. She is an assistant cheer coach at NC A&T. "I enjoy working with children while helping them grow and making a difference in their lives", says Raelin.

Odaray is a senior Criminal Justice major at High Point University. She was originally introduced to D-UP through the Bonner Leader Program at HPU. Odaray says,  "After graduating I hope to continue my education by pursuing a degree in law".

For over 10 years, Daryl has been working in the community as a mentor, a youth counselor, and a community leader providing support to students in the local area. He is continuing his education in Physical Education to fulfill his passion in Health and Fitness as a Fitness Instructor/Trainer.

For over 15 years, I have immersed myself in the art of mime, using silent expression to captivate hearts and minds. My passion for youth has been the driving force behind my journey, as I channel my talents and creativity to make a positive impact on young lives. I strive to inspire, mentor, and bring about meaningful change, one performance at a time.

Corin has been with D-UP since middle school. She is a graduate of the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University receiving her B.F.A. in Acting. 

Abby is a recent graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelors in Politics & Global Affairs and Sociology. They are completing their year of service through AmeriCorps and looking forward to a wonderful year!
